One step instead of two so 50% faster! Busch® Pavé Burs (447AU) are made of long-lasting carbide and are a unique, (patent-pending) combination of a twist drill and a round bur. This game changing bur allows the need for only one tool/bur for pre-drilling, shaping and enlarging! These burs are perfectly shaped to prepare your jewelry for pavé setting. Then make a clean cross cut to create the desired notches for the stones. We recommend using either the Busch® 231F (0.2mm) or the 231FL (0.3mm) Circular Saw depending upon your need.
All Busch® AU style carbide burs have precision-cut edges, so they cut more aggressively and are longer lasting than standard carbide. Well suited for use on hard metals (such as platinum, white gold, titanium, and steel). Recommended speed is 5,000-10,000rpm. 3/32" (2.38mm) shank. Sold in multiples of 2.
