Chemical darkener for producing an antique green patina on brass, bronze and copper. Apply to clean metal surface with a bristle brush or immerse entire object. The initial coat is critical: when a dull film appears, that indicates the patina has reacted to the metal. Additional coats can be applied if desired (allow complete air drying in between coats). Product does not expire, however; they can deteriorate over time. Always store product at room temperature, in tightly closed original container. Do not mix used product with fresh. It is always advisable to test product in a small inconspicuous area to make sure that it does not adversely effect or damage the surface being treated.
