HMR-14 is a planishing hammer with one polished and one ground head that gives the texture of "Raw Silk". Similar to a texture that could be rolled onto flat metal but not possible with dimensional shapes. Fretz Hammers feature beautiful and strong hardwood handles, oil finished and tapering to a slender neck for flexibility. Head is cast from 420-grade stainless steel and hardened to 50HRC for maximum durability. Both slightly domed faces are 19mm in diameter with one face polished to a mirror shine, the other will give the texture of "Raw Silk". Made in Vietnam.
