Due to its large size, the HMR-303 "Bull" Peen stretching hammer can be used for any number of metal forming tasks: hardening metal through repeated blows, smoothing hammer marks, shaping metal, riveting, even forging wire or ingots. The HMR-303 has two faces of different sizes and curvatures to best match your needs. Part of the 300 series, these hammers are some of the largest hammers Fretz makes. Their heavy 420 stainless-steel heads are tool hardened to 50 HRC. Paired with oiled hardwood handles which are shaped and weighted perfectly to give you maximum control, blow after blow.
